The Delhi Police has made some headway in Monday's Israeli embassy car blast case. While the investigators were able to get a glance of the motorcycle-borne bomber who allegedly placed the magnetic bomb on the car, some people were detained for questioning.
Meanwhile, a red motorcycle was found abandoned in south Delhi. It was not clear whether it was the same two-wheeler used by the bomber.
CCTV footage from Khan Market area, which is a hotspot for foreign nationals, shows these men loitering around the Israeli embassy car.
The Israeli embassy staffer, who was critically injured in the explosion that ripped through the vehicle, had lunch with her diplomat husband at a restaurant in the area minutes before the incident. She was going to pick up her children from school in the car.
The police have got a glance of the attacker who allegedly attached the bomb on the rear of the car. They said they saw the attacker carrying a bag and the explosive that was stuck to the car.

Iran-Israel spar continues
Israel has blamed Iran for the attack. A spokesperson of the Israeli embassy said the country has full faith in the Indian security agencies.
"We have the utmost respect and confidence in the Indian security and Indian security agencies. Our cooperation with the Indian security agencies is constant and extremely close and intimate. Our authorities have very close contact with these authorities, especially after an event like this," the spokesperson said.
On the other side, Iran continued to reject claims by Israel that it was behind the attack on one of its embassy staffs.
Iranian envoy to India Mahdi Nabizadeh said that Tehran has repeatedly denied the allegations. He also said that relations with India would remain strong.
